In the treasury of Dresden Castle, there were six of these parade vessels of Saxon serpentine, which were set by Urban Schneeweiss both simply and elegantly in silver-gilt. The engraving on the lids with the coat of arms of the Electorate of Saxony and the Kingdom of Denmark refer to the politically significant marriage of Elector Augustus of Saxony and Anne of Denmark.
